This maru obi is from Taisho period(1912-1925) or early Showa period(Showa:1926-1989). It has unique peony and shishi's hair motif, which is woven boldly in the yellow background. Textile is exquisite silk, and has very soft touch. It has a comparatively prominent folding line(and frays on it), frays in the hems/ends and a snag.
