This is a high-end men's formal haori, kimono and juban(undergarment) set.
It is large size, and fit to approx 180cm(5feet 11inch) tall.
Texitle is exquisite Oshima tsumugi, one of the most valuabe tsumugi silk. It has beautiful tortoise shell pattern, which is woven elaborately. It has very soft and smooth touch.
Juban is made of soft plain silk and has exotic ukiyoe motif pattern, which is dyed.
Basting stitches remain in haori and kimono. This piece seems not to be worn. Haori lining has patinas, but as a whole it is almost in excellent condition.
