This is a FABULOUS uchikake and Furisode set. These pieces are in the luxurious wooden box, which has signiture of dyer( Tsuneo Asakura ) and date ( Showa 62(1988)). Usually contemporary uchikake is made of bridal costume company, and rentaled to brides. However, these pieces was ordered by very rich family only for their daughter.
Both are dyed with yuzen technique elaborately, and both are added delicated hand embroidery all over it. Please enjoy its wonderful details with more photos.
Textile is exquisite silk, and has very soft touch.
It has some slight flaws as photos show, but as a whole it is in very good condition.
