This is a monk's jacket, koromo. It is made of graceful purple rinzu silk, which has chrysanthemum pattern. Textile has soft touch.
It seems to be from mid Showa period(Showa:1926-1989) or earlier.
It has a tear in the back(and there are two large-4cm/1.6in repaired holes in the back just near the lapel, in addition, there is a small tear in the sleeve bottom on the shoulder folding line - sorry we don't check these flaws in the figure), several small holes in the back and some stains.
