This is a vintage futon - not 'futon cover', padding is not removed.
Outside fabric is beautiful kasuri cotton, and has wonderful geometric pattern. Textile is comparatively thick and has medium touch.
Both sides are made of same kasuri cotton, and heavily padded ( thickness is 4cm-1.6in).
It has discoloration(or stains?) in the hems and there is a discolored band in each sides.
As a whole it is in very good condition.
