This is purple kimono is from pre WWII, and has bold 'neji-ume'(twisted ume blossom) and 'yabane'(arrow feather) pattern, which is dyed with shibori technique. shibori is Japanese tie dyeing technique, and it gives the textile very unique texture.
Textile is rinzu, silk with damask effect, and has soft and comfortable touch.
It has some stains and patinas. Lining also has stains and discoloration. As a whole it is in very good condition.
