This is a rare funeral kimono - kazuki. It is worn by covering one's head. Because of its wearing way, the neck it different from other kimono.
That is the costume for lamenting at the funeral.
Elegant flowers motif is hand painted with yuzen technique.
Textile is thin silk and not lined. Triangle weights made of wool are added in the bottom corners.
It has some flaws as photos show, but as a whole it is in very good condition.
