This is a rare layered irotomesode set from Taisho period(1912-1925) or early Showa period(Showa:1926-1989).
One piece has dramatic kimono lady motif, which is dyed with yuzen technique. Some parts are added fine embroidery. We sometimes see the similar design in modern kimono, but we have never seen similar picture in vintage kimono.
Another piece has royal cart and holly hock motif, which is dyed with yuzen technique. This piece's background color is slightly paler than kimono lady motif one.
Both piece has fan motif pattern in the lower lining.
Textile is exquisite silk, and has very soft touch.
It has some stains, smudges and discoloration, but as a whole it is in very good condition.
