This blue uchikake is from Taisho period(1912-1925) or early Showa period(Showa:1926-1989). It has appealing phoenix, paulownia, chrysanthemum and 'kicho'( partition used by noble people in ancient days) motifs are dyed colorfully in the purplish blue background. Textile is exquisite silk, and has very soft touch. Bottom is heavily padded. It has some small patinas, small stains and slight discoloration.
