This purple kimono is from pre WWII, and has WONDERFUL design - carp motif is woven with urushi coated threads, and water motif is dyed boldly with detailed pattern. In addition, cord motif is elaborately embroidered!

Textile is exquisite silk, and has soft and slightly textured touch.
It has very slight smudges at places, slight wear in the lapel and embroidery seam is coming off in shoulder. Lining has stains and patinas.
However, as a whole it is in very good condition.
