This vermilion juban(undergarment) is from Taisho period(1912-1925) or early Showa period(Showa:1926-1989), and has wonderful old fashioned taste!
Royal cart, ume blossom, cherry blossom and chrysanthemum motifs are dyed colorfully in the vivid vermilion background.
Textile is exquisite 'mon-kinsha'( fine crepe with damask effect), and has very soft and comfortable touch.
It has some flaws as photos show, but as a whole it is in very good condition.
