This is a FABULOUS koto(Japanese harp) cover from Taisho period(1912-1925) or early Showa period(Showa:1926-1989).
It is made of chirimen(crepe) silk, and has FABULOUS design - 'kusudama'(flowers ball), 'misu'(bamboo curtain) and CHIN(!) motifs are dyed vividly! In addition, incredibly delicate embroidery is added partly. Please check its wonderful details with more photos.
It has some flaws as photos show, but as a whole it is in very good condition.
