This is a magnificent vermilion uchikake from Kyoto Nishijin. It has fantastic woven pattern - royal cart, cloud, pine tree and flowers are woven finely all over it. Lots of gold threads are used, and this piece has exceptionally gorgeous atmosphere. Textile is exquisite silk, and has very soft touch.
It has slight smudges in the hems, but as a whole it is in very good condition.
