This maru obi has bold 'mukai-tsuru'( pair cranes in diamond shape) pattern, which is woven luxuriously.
Textile is exquisite silk, and has very soft touch.
It has frays in the corners and hems. Pale color parts have many slight patinas and smudges. There is a slight folding line and there are slight frays at places.
We can not say it is in very good condition, but it is still very charming piece for its fantastic design.
