This is a vintage shima-cho. 180 'shima'(stripe) pattern cotton fabrics are collected and elaborately pasted in 19 pages old note. There are worm holes and several fabrics are missing, but we can feel the owner's affection to fabrics from each pages.
Most fabrics seems to be Meiji period(1868-1912) or Taisho period(1912-1925).
Cover has text, which can read 'shima-cho'.
