This kimono is from Taisho period(1912-1925) or early Showa period(Showa:1926-1989). It has fabulous dyed pattern all over it - chrysanthemum, tachibana(Japanese green citrus), ume blossom and wave motifs are dyed colorfully. Especially its colors are fabulous!
Textile is rinzu, silk with damask effect, and has soft and comfortable touch.
Sleeves are gracefully long and it has red silk lining, which are the feature of kimono from pre WWII.
It has some slight flaws as photos show( stains are very slight or small). As a whole it is in very good condition.
*Sleeves are jointed in the lower part, to make it long. There is a seam in the front, which is 12cm-4.7in from bottom.
*Approx background color - HTML code ( DD777C)
