This vintage maru obi has FABULOUS woven pattern - shishi , peony and cloud motifs are woven very finely all over it! Please enjoy its wonderful woven details with more photos.
Textile is exquisite silk, and has very soft touch.
One end is folded and sewn. So an end mark ('kaikiri-sen') is in the approx 80cm-31.5in from one end. Under the folded part, fabric is removed. Its part might be damaged and shortened/repaired.
One side has two large stains, and another side has three large stains. They are prominent. There is a comparatively prominent folding line. We can not say it is in very good condition, but it is still very charming piece for its fantastic design.
