This is a vintage nobori bata, flag for boy's festival day. It is made of cotton, medium thick cotton, and has exotic iris('shoubu') and stream motif, which is dyed. ' Shoubu' means not only the name of flower but also 'martial arts training'. So iris motif is often seen in boy's festival day's flag.
Textile is medium thick cotton.
It has some flaws as photos show, but as a whole it is in very good condition.
