This is a 'bouku-zukin'( anti-air raid cap) made of katazome cotton fabric. This piece has cute 'chidori'(flying bird) motif!
Textile is medium thick cotton, and padded heavily.
It is interesting that this cap has such cute design.
There are couple of small holes in one side. There are several slight stains and frays. However, as a whole it is in very good condition.
