This is a fukusa from pre WWII. It has 'kaioke' (a hexagonal container to store clam shells, which are used ancient shell matching game - 'kaiawase' ), pagoda scenery, and various auspicious flower motifs, which are woven finely. Textile is jinken and has medium touch.
There are some stains, smudges and patinas. It has no tassle but as a whole, it is in very good condition.
**Left square on the flaw indication sheet shows the front, and right one shows the back of the fukusa.
