This is a fukusa from pre Meiji period(1868-1912). It has an old man with cute turtle and 'matsu'(pine tree) motifs, which are elaborately embroidered. The man seems to be Juroujin, one of Seven Lucky Gods. Please check more photos for the charming details. Textile is navy shusu silk and has soft smooth touch.
There are some stains, snags, smudges and holes but as a whole, it is in very good condition.
**Left square on the flaw indication shhet shows the front, and right one shows the back of the fukusa.
