This is a nagoya obi from pre WWII. It has stunning shishi motifs, which are woven elaborately. They are designed boldly and looks very appealing. Textile is jinken and has medium touch.
There are noticeable sparse patina and stains at places on both wide and narrow parts. Hems and corners are frayed, which are noticable at places. There are also a few snags, frays, and several smudges.
We can not say it is in very good condition, but it is still very charming piece for its fantastic design.
