This is a maru obi from pre WWII. It has eye-catching 'matsu'(pine tree), exotic flower, and bold 'seigaiha'(wave) motifs, which are woven elabrately. Some of the motifs are woven with gold threads and looks very gorgeous. Textile is silk-jinken blend and has medium touch.
Both end parts have noticeable sparse patinas. It also has several noticeable snags, frays, and smudges. A noticeable folding line appears but as a whole, it is in very good condition.
