This is a nagoya obi from mid-Showa period(Showa:1926-1989). It has an exotic ship motif pattern, which is woven elaboartely. Textile is jinken and has soft touch.
Wide part has a few holes(including the wrong side), a fray on each corner, and a few snags. Narrow part has a few noticeable stains, holes, and several frays. There is one large stain on the narrow part. Slight fray appears at places on the side hems but as a whole, it is in very good condition.
*Nagoya obi needs some accessories to complete the square bow in a traditional style.
You will need an obi makura pillow, obijime cord and obiage sash. Please contact us if you need accessories.
