This is a nagoya obi from pre WWII. It has a dynamically designed lobster with some kind of plant motifs, which are finely embroidered. This lobster is designed very largely and looks very appealing. Please check more photos for the details. Textile is shusu silk and has soft smooth touch.
Wide part has a few smudges, frays, and a hole. Narrow part has a few smudges but as a whole, it is in very good condition.
*Nagoya obi needs some accessories to complete the square bow in a traditional style.
You will need an obi makura pillow, obijime cord and obiage sash. Please contact us if you need accessories.
