This is a black nagoya obi from pre WWII. It has a pheasant on the tree motifs, which are finely embroidered. It is embroidered with colorful threads and looks very appealing on the black fabric. Textile is shusu silk and has soft smooth touch.
Wide part has a few patina on the motifs. Narrow part has a few stains and frays. Fray on the hems are quite noticeable but as a whole, it is in very good condition.
