This is a nagoya obi from mid-Showa period(Showa:1926-1989). It has various charming motifs, which are woven elaborately. it includes takara, flowers, and carp looking fish motifs. Textile is jinken and has medium smooth touch.
Wide part has a few holes, frays, and snags. Discoloration apso appear in large part of the wide aprt. Narrow part also has a few holes, frays, and discoloration parts but as a whole, it is in very good condition.
*Nagoya obi needs some accessories to complete the square bow in a traditional style.
You will need an obi makura pillow, obijime cord and obiage sash. Please contact us if you need accessories.
