This is a nagoya obi from mid-Showa period(Showa:1926-1989). It has various 'hagoita'(battledore) motifs, which are woven elaborately. Each hagoita has a charming design including noble people and kimono lady. Textile is silk and has soft touch. There are fray at places on both wide and narrow parts(most fray appear on the end and hem parts and they are quite noticeable). It also has several stains and smudges. Fabric is becoming weak and it might tear from side hems. It is in good condition. *Approx background color - HTML code ( E5CC80)
