This is a nagoya obi from pre WWII. It has appealing 'kikko'(tortoise shell) with bamboo flutes, and charming flower motifs, which are woven elaboartely. Textile is silk and has medium touch. Wide part has a few stains and fray by the end part and corners. Narrow part has several stains and a few dye stuff. Few of the stain on the narrow part are prominent. However as a whole it is in very good condition. *Nagoya obi needs some accessories to complete the square bow in a traditional style.
