This is a maru obi from pre WWII. It has peacock, 'matsu'(pine tree), 'kiku'(chrysanthemum), peony, and bridge motifs, which are woven elaborately. Textile is silk and jinken(rayon) blend and has medium touch.
It has several noticeable frays, snags at places, and noticeable folding line but as a whole, it is in very good condition.
