This is a RARE kasuri cotton fabric from pre WWII.
'Nami-chidori'(flying bird and wave) and national flags of United Kingdom and Japan are woven elaborately with double ikat pattern.
It seems to be from the age of The Anglo-Japanese Alliance(1902-).
Textile is medium thick and has soft touch. Background is beautiful well worn air color.
It has several holes and some stains as photos show.
It is the valuable witness of the history!
