This is a kaga noren from pre WWII. It has a peaceful scenery with 'matsu'(pine tree), 'ume'(plum flowers) and flying crane motifs. It also has eye-catching 'kikko'(tortoise shell) motifs. All the motifs are dyed tastefully, and its background color has a beautiful gradation. The textile is cotton and has soft touch.
It has some stains, tear, smudges and discloration but as a whole, it is in very good condition.
