This is a wonderful nobori bata, flag for boy's festival day 'Tango no Sekku'. It is from pre WWII.
It has stunning samurai motif picture, which is dyed colorfully and vividly.
Please enjoy its fabulous dyed details with more photos.
Textile is medium thick cotton.
It has some stains and other flaws as photos show. However, as a whole it is in very good condition.
We highly recommend this wonderful vintage nobori bata!
