This is a maru obi from pre WWII. It has 'tsuzumi'(Japanese hand drum), 'Sho'(Japanese wind instrument for gagaku), eagle and flower motifs, which are woven elaborately. Textile is silk-jinken blend and has soft touch.
There are several noticeable stains(mainly in one side) and some patina, dye stuff, smudge. It also has a folding line and fray on the corner and hems, stitches on the side hems are unpicked but as a whole, it is in very good condition.
