This is a kurotomesode, most formal kimono for married women. This piece is from pre WWII ( hiyoku, added lining, is made of synthetic and added in later age), and has FABULOUS design - sail ship motif is dyed!
Palm tree and flying seagull are also dyed, which make this kurotomesode very special.
It has some stains and small patinas, and its black color is very slightly discolored.
As a whole it is in very good condition.
