This is a purple color nagoya obi from pre WWII. It has a bold geometric pattern, which is dyed with shibori technique. shibori is Japanese tie dyeing technique, and it gives the textile such an unique texture. Textile is silk and has soft touch. There are a few stains and patina on both wide and narrow parts but as a whole, it is in very good condition. *Approx background color - HTML code ( BD188D)
