This is a vintage furoshiki with beautiful sashiko pattern. Geometric patterns are elaborately sewn in each corners.
Name of the owner is dyed out in the corners, which reads 'Wajima', 'lacquerware maker'.
Textile is comparatively thick cotton, and has well worn beautiful ai color.
It has many holes(circle marks in the figure), seam is coming looe in couple parts, a tear in the hems, some stains and discoloration. However, as a whole it is in very good condition.
