This is a gorgeous uchishiki from mid Showa period(Showa:1926-1989), fabric for Buddhist altar. It has eye-catching 'karabana'(imaginary flower in China) pattern, which is woven boldly in vermilion background. Textile is exquisite silk, and has very soft touch. It has some flaws as photos show, but as a whole it is in very good condition. *Figure: black marks are in the right side, and red marks are in the wrong side. photo:nono |
