This is a women's black haori from mid-Showa period(Showa:1926-1989). It has various charming 'karako'(karako is child figure in China) motifs, which are dyed tastefully. They look very bold on the black fabric. Textile is silk and has soft smooth touch.
There are soem flaws as in the photos. Unfortunately there are noticeable patina and discoloration around all the karako motifs, but as a whole, it is in very good condition.
