This is a FABULOUS uchikake from Taisho period(1912-1925) or early Showa period(Showa:1926-1989). Waterfall, flying crane, royal cart and other auspicious motifs are dyed colorfully in the blue background. Bow and hat motifs imply samurai. Fine embroidery is added all over it. Please enjoy its wonderful yuzen and embroidery details with more photos. Textile is exquisite silk, and has very soft touch. It has some small slight stains, slight smudges in the hems and bottom and slight discoloration. Embroidery thread of bow is coming off. As a whole it is in very good condition.
