This is a uchishiki, fabric for Buddhist altar from mid-Showa period(Showa:1926-1989). It has gorgeous dragon motif kinkoma embroidery in the center part. The textile is jinken. Lining is also jinken.
There are some noticeable flaws as in the photos. Lining fabric is almost coming off(upper part has tears), and the kinkoma embroidery threads are coming loose(some parts are missing). We can not say this is in very good condition but still this can be a great interior display or your art reference.
