This fukusa is from Meiji period(1868-1912).
It has bold Takasago motif, which is elaborately embroidered. Please enjoy its wonderful embroidery details with more photos.
Textile is pale blue shusu silk, and lined with chirimen(crepe) silk.
Right side has several very small holes, small stains and slight smudges. Wrong side has more than several holes and three tassels are missing.
As a whole it is in very good condition.
