This is a blue nagoya obi from mid-Showa period(Showa:1926-1989). It has bamboo flute with 'kiku'(chrysanthemum), bamboo, and bell flower motifs, which are woven elaborately. Textile is jinken and has medium smooth touch.
Wide part has noticeable discoloration under the motif and hem parts. It also has several fray, snags, smudge and patina. Narrow part also has noticeable stains, fray, snags, patina, smudge and dsicoloration. Few stains are prominent, and stitches are unpicked by the hems but as a whole, it is in very good condition.
