This is a black nagoya obi from mid-Showa period(Showa:1926-1989). It has a bold peacock motif, which is dyed tastefully. Textile is rinzu silk with takara and sayagata pattern. It has soft smooth touch.
Wide part has a hole, tear, patina, and discoloration on the motif. Narrow part also has a few small holes, fray, and discoloration. Slight discoloration also appears but as a whole, it is in very good condition.
