This is a gorgeous uchishiki, fabric for Buddhist altar.
Kanji character in the wrong side read Meiji 40(1908). It has stunning dragon and shishi motif, which is woven in vivid vermilion background.
Its kinran fabric is very gorgeous and graceful!
It has a small hole, several stains and frays in the hem. Lining fabric has stains, smudges and discoloration. However, as a whole it is in very good condition.
