This blue irotomesode is from Taisho period(1912-1925) or early Showa period(Showa:1926-1989). It has wonderful yuzen work - especially its rooster motif is rare and impressive! Textile is rinzu, silk with damask effect, and has soft and comfortable touch. It has many stains. Its color is slightly discolored. We can not say it is in very good condition, but it is still very charming piece for its fantastic design.
