This is a kurotomesode, most formal kimono for married women.
This piece is made of ro, summer sheer silk, and has wonderful noh theme motif, which is dyed with yuzen technique. noh mask, 'tsuzumi'(Japanese hand drum), 'shou'(Japanese flute) and other motifs are dyed boldly and fine embroidery is added in the left front part.
It is from pre WWII, and has graceful long sleeves.
It has a slight stain in the back, couple of small patinas and black color is very slightly discolored. As a whole it is in very good condition.
