This maru obi is from Taisho period(1912-1925) or early Showa period(Showa:1926-1989).
It has very unique design - phoenix, paulownia and 'tatewaku'(waving lines) motifs are woven boldly!
Its pattern is RARE and impressive!
Both side of 70% of full legth is patterned(30% is blank same as fukuro obi.)
Textile is exquisite silk, and has very soft touch.
It has slight or small stains(or patinas) at places. There also are some slight or small frays at places. As a whole it is in very good condition.
