This is a black fukuro obi from mid-Showa period(Showa:1926-1989). It has dynamically deisgned 'seigaiha'(wave) motifswith flower patterned cloud motifs, which are woven elaborately. Wave motifs are woven with colorful threads and cloud motifs are woven with gorgeous godl threads. Textile is silk and has soft smooth touch.
There are several smudge(mostly on the white woven parts) and noticeable folding line appears, but as a whole, it is in very good condition.
