This nagoya obi has cute 'karako'(karako is child figure in China) and flowers cart motif, which is woven with tsume tsuzure technique. One threads by one threads, it was woven elaborately with nails, and it had to be taken incredibly long time to be completed.
It has special kind of stiff and comfortable touch of tsume tsuzure silk.
It seemed not to be tied. There are couple of very small slight stains, but as a whole it is almost in excellent condition.
Nagoya obi needs some accessories to complete the square bow
in a traditional style.
